Patrick O' Malley is a former Illinois State Senator and gubernatorial candidate. Patrick represented the 18th district of Illinois for ten years, being first elected in 1993, and re-elected four times. A self-described "Reagan Conservative" Mr. O'Malley represented the conservative wing of the Illinois State Senate. O'Malley served as chair of the Senate Financial Institutions Committee and a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee. O'Malley served in the Illinois State Senate with current Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Obama from 1996 until 2002.
